Immune boosting shots

It’s day #4 in our Italian lockdown, and we are boosting our immune system with these green shots. Perfect to accompany your morning breakfast and give you a great start to the day!


– 1 apple
– 1/2 cucumber
– 2 oranges
– big knob of ginger
– a few sprigs of mint
– 1 tsp of each superfood green powders, see below

Prepare the fruit and veg, by washing it thoroughly. Deseed the apple and chop into pieces. Chop the cucumber and remove the skin if it is thick and rough. Peel and deseed the oranges. For the ginger I leave the skin on, just give it a good wash. Add all the fruit and vegetables to your extractor and then stir in the green superfood powders which are a mix of chlorella, wheatgrass, barleygrass and hemp powder which are full of zinc, vitamin C, iron and protein.
