Raspberry Chia Jam

Raspberry chia jam

This bright pink jam is perfect to have in the fridge as a topping for your porridge or toast. It will take you seconds to make, try it with other berries too. You can also make this jam using fresh fruit rather than frozen. It tastes amazing on toast with almond butter and the jam on top…like a healthy peanut butter and jelly sandwich!!!

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups frozen raspberries
1/4 cup chia seeds
1 tbsp agave syrup (or honey)
1/4 cup water

What to do…

Place the raspberries in a colander and rinse under water (at room temperature) to slightly defrost the berries.

Place them in a blender and blend until the berries are broken up. Then add the remaining ingredients to the blender and mix to thoroughly combine.

Transfer to a jam jar and store in the fridge.
This jam will solidify as the chia seeds soak up the moisture.
